2008 Programs

  • Economic Impact Study - 2007: The Economic Impact Study involves an Accommodation Survey, conducted by Longwoods International, of every hotel, motel, campground, resort, and bed and breakfast in Ohio. This study tracks overall lodging business activity for the calendar year. The survey is a crucial component of the economic impact study. Remember that all responses are confidential and stay solely with the research firm. The Division is provided with only the statewide and regional totals, making it virtually impossible to derive individual property data.

  • Travel Industry Surveys: In the ongoing effort to improve our programs and partnerships with Ohio’s Travel Industry, the Division will send out periodic surveys to the industry as a whole, or to specific program participants. This feedback is vital to the future direction of our programs. This will be an ongoing component for our internal research. Results will be shared with the Travel Industry Advisory Council and the general industry, depending upon the nature of the survey.
